Call for Papers
Cancer and Primary Care
Primary care plays a central role in the whole spectrum of cancer health care from risk reduction, early detection and diagnosis, treatment, to survivorship. Family Medicine Community Health (FMCH), an academic journal published by BMJ, is dedicated to promoting person-centered care through disseminating novel knowledge and best practices in primary care and community health. FMCH plans to publish a special issue on Cancer and Primary Care and invites submissions of original research, commentary, review, and methodology papers related to this theme from international primary care research community.
Specifically, the special issue includes papers in the following three categories:
1. Editorial, Special communication and Perspective: these papers provide critical and evidence-based insight of cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship related to primary care.
2. Original Research and Review: these papers report original data and/or systematically analyze and synthesize evidence to answer specific research questions related to cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship related to primary care.
3. Methodology and Research Method: these papers propose/describe innovative approaches to address research questions in cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship related to primary care.

The closing date for submissions to the special issue is October 31, 2024. The submissions to this special issue will be fast-tracked for peer-review, revision, and processing, and will be published online expeditiously.
