Decommissioning of offshore oil and gas platforms: A systematic literature review of factors involved in the process
2022, Ocean EngineeringCitation Excerpt :Section 2 describes the research method, Section 3 presents the descriptive analysis of the data of the papers analyzed, Section 4 presents the categories descriptions and their dimensions, Section 5 discusses the results, and Section 6 presents the conclusions. The systematic literature review is a critical study of a research theme, allowing the researcher to map and evaluate the research topic, and specify the research question for a deeper understanding of the topic (González and Toledo, 2012; Jones and Evans, 2000; Tranfield et al., 2003). The research procedure was developed using the adaptation of the method proposed by (Cooper et al., 2009) and considered five steps, as shown in Fig. 1:
Declining Quality of Systematic Reviews in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine: An Updated Systematic Review
2022, Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, and RehabilitationHierarchy and medical error: Speaking up when witnessing an error
2020, Safety ScienceCitation Excerpt :Specifically, this review will explore evidence to answer the question: Within the medical hierarchy, what are the mechanisms influencing speaking up in the presence of witnessed ME? A systematic review was conducted to appraise and synthesise the primary research papers using a rigorous and clearly documented methodology in both the search strategy and the selection of studies, thereby minimising bias in the results conducting a systematic review (Jones and Evans, 2000). Primary research manuscripts in English and published in 2000 up to and including August 2017 were sourced using Medline, Psychinfo and Business Source Premier (last searched August 2017).
Systematic mapping study of API usability evaluation methods
2019, Computer Science ReviewCitation Excerpt :Similarly, the work of Gorski and Iacono [72] does not mention how physical interface and logical interface from the adopted usability model of Winter et al. [89] will differ for an API. The systematic studies are conducted to perform a methodical assessment of a subject using some predefined plan, i.e., focusing on some particular research questions [91]. In the field of API analysis, we found systematic mapping study by Burns et al. [92].
Cleaner supply-chain management practices for twenty-first-century organizational competitiveness: Practice-performance framework and research propositions
2015, International Journal of Production EconomicsCitation Excerpt :Hence, we used “sustainable practices” while searching for IJPE articles. A systematic-review paper, more specifically, synthesizes, appraises, summarizes, and interprets based on the past 60 or more articles (Jones and Evans, 2000). A previous medical study reported a formula for sample-size calculations with examples of precision rates for different sizes (Guo et al., 2014).
